Update 1: Correction. This is the second Touch-A-Truck event.
On Saturday, October 4th the Stamford Historical Society will be hosting a Touch-A-Truck event from 1 – 4 p.m. in the afternoon. In addition to the trucks, there will be free face-painting for the children. “The little ones are so adorable,” says one of our teen face painters, “and the WWII halftrack was totally awesome last year.” Drinks, healthy snacks, and baked goodies will be available for purchase. Admission is $5/person. Children under 4 are admitted free.
New to the vehicle line-up this year is a military helicopter. Visitors will be able to explore modern and historic fire engines along with a variety of construction trucks. Young or old, come toot the horn on a “big rig.”
